ONYX MODEL
DISCLAIMER
As a first edition model, the Onyx Carbon Fiber (CF) Kevlar Model has been designed based on strength and durability being the two most important factors in manufacturing.
Built with Nylon Carbon Fiber and Kevlar infill, this stirrup provides internal reinforcement
that has been carefully selected with regard to how difficult is it to break and/or sever Kevlar.
JSL's Onyx Model has been strategically designed and thoroughly tensile tested for over 2 years,
with studied results indicating a long and slow break that takes extreme excessive force to completely sever, making it a great candidate for the application.
During the first year of live, on-track use, JSL will periodically test this model to ensure quality control. Any rider who receives the Onyx Model understands and agrees to the following:
1. RIDER agrees to share feedback during first year of live use.
2. RIDER agrees to allow JSL to replace sets at their own discretion as models change & develop.
3. RIDER agrees to maintain stirrups to the best of their ability, including cleaning and proper storage.
We encourage our riders to thoroughly test ride these stirrups on an Equicizer before use in a live race. Be sure to visit the How to Use page to learn about proper foot placement.

CLEANING, STORAGE & USE
In order to preserve the quality and integrity of the Onyx Model, JSL recommends the following:
CLEANING: Clean after each use.
Do not use chemicals for cleaning.
Soft dry cloth or damp/wet towel only.
STORAGE: Do not leave stirrups out in the elements. After cleaning, store in a cool, dry place.
INSPECTION: Always inspect your stirrups before and after each race. If you notice any signs of wear or damage in paint and/or finish, or changes to the integrity or shape of the stirrup, please report this to JSL immediately.
Since the sport of horseracing is inherently dangerous,
we ask that you take proper precautions with your equipment.
Please maintain your stirrups as you would any sporting equipment, and above all - ride safe!
